Khanna Carpet Factory
‘Extension of the past, Extension for the future.’
The Khanna carpet factory is a G+2 factory building that has been designed as an extension to an existing property with the potential for future expansion. The exterior of the building is made up of exposed brickwork, giving it a rugged and industrial look. Additionally, the ground floor of the building has a corrugated steel shed that provides shade for loading and unloading activities.
One of the defining features of the Khanna carpet factory is its large span of 45 feet. The dimensions of the main hall are 113 feet by 138 feet, providing a large open space on all the floors, and can be used flexibly as per the requirements and needs of the factory. This large open space can be used for a variety of activities, such as manufacturing, storage, or even as a showroom.
The ground floor consists of small office cabins, verandah and store room, while a large hall is present on all the floors giving the freedom of flexible usage of the space as per the requirement and need in the factory. The second floor consists of an admin and showroom, as per the client requirement. The direct connection between the loading and unloading platforms and the first floor makes it easier to move goods in and out of the building.
